Grief Scriptures

Beloved, almost all Christians are only one scripture away from their breakthrough, deliverance, joy, or peace. The word of God, as found in Joshua 1:8, admonishes the believer to meditate on the word of God day and night; if they are to have great success. Beloved, allow your heart to be comforted and encouraged as you “feast” on the word of God, knowing that you will reap great rewards when you follow God’s instructions. God’s words are a lamp to your feet and a light to your path, and they will keep you from stumbling. (Psalm 119:105, emphasis added).

Yes, it’s true; sometimes life throws you too many curve balls, and taking God at his word literally seems daunting and impossible when your circumstances look catastrophic. Trust me, I understand. However, there is no better time to trust God and watch him perform miracles on your behalf. But most of the time, the manifestation of your blessings will require your active participation.

Therefore, beloved, grab hold of your “faith” and not allow the commotion from the wind to cause you to lose sight of Jesus as Peter did in Matthew 14:30. God said that He is near to the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds. Stay encouraged; your Abba, Father, is not slack concerning his promises towards you. Because all of God’s promises are Yes and Amen. Beloved, God is concerned about all things concerning you. When you draw near to God, He will draw near to you. Scriptures say, why we are yet calling God will answer.

Beloved, search our scripture database or use any biblical resource to find your “One” Scripture to keep you anchored in faith and hope (Hebrews 11:1).

Beloved, Let’s Pray:

Beloved, prayer does not change God, but prayer will change our situations or how we perceive our circumstances. Sometimes, that is the miracle we need most. God, please help me see my current situation as you see it. Please help me see this situation with my spiritual eyes, not my natural ones. I want to walk by faith and not by sight. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. For as we share abundantly in Christ’s sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too. If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; and if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer. Our hope for you is unshaken, for we know that as you share in our sufferings, you will also share in our comfort. …
